When Holiday Cheer Goes Bad1998, 11:57I worked for a software company in Scotts Valley from 1996 to 2007. I video-taped the company's 1998 Christmas party and decided to create an "investigative report" stlye video to entertain everyone. With a little creative writing, animation, music, and home-made sound effects, this 12 minute video is the result. It received rave reviews from the entire staff!

Another Weird Film by Rob and Bill1991, 5:16In September, 1991, my Friend Bill Boes and I shot this in a couple hours one afternoon in San Francisco. It just happened to be the same day as the Oakland Hills fire which was raging across the bay in the background. The smoke added mood to our shots although at the time we didn't know the extent of the fire's destruction. I edited this together just recently as my first YouTube video. Shooting the scenes for this was a spontaneous weekend activity with no real intention or purpose, other than to have fun with a video camera and to perhaps, poke a little fun at inscrutable experimental art films. Most of the "action" was directed by Bill, he is in the special effects industry in Hollywood. See "Another Weird Film by Rob and Bill" on YouTube. |
